GapTo10

FACEIT ELO calculator

How many matches to the next level, at a given win rate. Net ELO per match is ±25 in an even matchup, so the gap divided by 25 × (2 × winrate − 1) is the honest answer.

Why the number is bigger than you expect

At a 55% win rate you net 2.5 ELO per match. Not 25 — 2.5. Winning 55 of 100 games moves you 250 ELO, which is one level. That is the whole reason climbing feels slow: the gap is not the problem, the margin is.

At 50% you never arrive, no matter how many matches you play. Every projection on this page assumes the win rate holds; the point of raising it by a few points is that the match count collapses. Going from 55% to 60% cuts a 250 ELO climb from 100 matches to 50.

FACEIT does not publish its exact ELO formula and the real gain per match varies with the rating gap between the two teams. ±25 is the even-matchup value and the one that matches what most players see.
